A math teacher will tell you 37 is a prime number –- a number with only one and itself as factors. For the ALC, 37 represents the years we have helped adult learners transform their lives through literacy. And, like a prime number, our work takes two factors: our volunteer tutors and supporters like you who keep our programs free of charge to students.
